2 Week Tour of Costa Rica

Early morning visit to Café Britt's farm in Heredia, where you will learn about the journey that coffee itself takes from the plantation to its final destination: the coffee cup. You will have a guided tour through a plantation and in a small theater you will see the widely entertaining story of Costa Rican coffee. Later on, enjoy a wonderful afternoon touring the city of San José.

Day 3: INBIOparque
Today you will visit the INBIOParque. This educational and recreational center exposes visitors to samples of the vast world of biological diversity that can be found in Costa Rica and its National Parks. Some of the attractions that INBIOParque offers are modern and interactive exhibition pavilions, interpreted trails, and much more.

Day 4: San José / Arenal. La Paz Waterfall Gardens
Depart early this morning to Arenal Volcano area; on the way we will visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Five magnificent waterfalls with nine viewing platforms allow the visitors to feel the mist of this magnificent power of nature. You will also be able to visit the world's largest Butterfly Observatory. After a delicious lunch on the outdoor dining terrace, you will continue to Arenal Volcano Area. This volcano is famous for its steaming rumbling cone and spewing lava.

Day 5: Arenal/ La Fortuna Waterfall
After breakfast, experience a wonderful morning horseback riding tour to La Fortuna Waterfall. Free afternoon to relax in the hotel´s thermal water pool or do other activities of your choice.

Day 6: Arenal / Sarapiqui
After breakfast transfer to Sarapiqui area, where you will do White Water Rafting at Sarapiqui river. In the afternoon you will visit the hotel trails with your guide. Lunch and dinner at the Lodge.

Day 7: Sarapiqui / Tortuguero
Early morning transfer from Sarapiquí Hotel to connect with the Tortuguero bus, and then by boat through Tortuguero Canals. We will get at the Lodge on time for lunch. Afternoon visit to the Green Turtle Museum and the town of Tortuguero.

Day 8: Tortuguero
After a delicious breakfast at the lodge, enjoy the narration of a local guide who will help you spot crocodiles, turtles and other tropical wildlife along the way to Tortuguero National Park, originally protected as a major nesting beach for the Atlantic Green Turtle. Silently paddling through the jungle lagoons and waterways, searching for wildlife and listening to "jungle sounds" make this experience memorable.

Day 10: San Jose / Manuel Antonio
Early morning departure to Manuel Antonio beach located in the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Free afternoon to relax and enjoy the beach.

Day 11: Manuel Antonio National Park
Morning visit to Manuel Antonio National Park, where monkeys will welcome you while you walk along the trails and watch the different plant and animal species present in this amazing place.

Day 13: Manuel Antonio / San José
Late morning departure back to San José. Farewell dinner in one of Old Town's beautiful restaurants.

Day 14: Back Home
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel to take you to Juan Santamaría International Airport, approximately two hours before your flight's scheduled departure time.
