A home stay program is a wonderful opportunity to explore everything that France has to offer. The objective of the program is for participants to learn about the culture and daily life of the host country through their host family, whether it be on family outings, get-togethers or just hanging out at home. Accommodation and Meals The home stay will be at the heart of Provence, In Nîmes, the city that possesses some of the best-preserved Roman architecture in the world, the capital of the Gard Department with history that goes back to the Roman Empire. Your chosen host families will be your source for discovering life in France. You will become more familiar with culture, cuisine and French language. All meals will be arranged by your host families. Excursions There will be two excursions while in Nîmes. 1) A Day trip to Les Baux de Provence high on a windswept plateau overlooking the southern Alpilles. Walk along the Champs-Elysées Boulevard and see how Parisians relax and enjoy a beautiful morning on its many sidewalk cafes. Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral. If Paris has a heart, then this is it.
