Peru The project in Peru is taking place in the village of Umasbamba in the Sacred Valley of Peru. This project will provide much needed assistance to one of the regional schools. These schools are not receiving enough aid from the local government. The goal of the project is to bring additional assistance to the town in order to help them maintain the school open and help preserve the traditional folkloric arts. |

Mexico The community service project in Mexico is taking place in Tulum at the Javielita School. The mission of the Javielita School is to preserve the wisdom of the Mayan ancestry in the teaching modalities of math, language, science etc. through a collective teaching involving all in the community. The students will be assisting in planting gardens of healing plants from the region with the school children, building extra educational facilities such as school houses, and building a traditional Mayan football field. |
